Please note: All of the old RFB broadcasts dating back to 2006 have been scrubbed from the site. We listened to them again, weighed them in the balance and found them wanting, not to mention wanton. We're working on a better, cooler, even more divisive formula that will be unveiled when the time is right and the money is good and the creek don't rise and all that other stuff.
Satellite
beaming bright
out into the starry night
and you’re sending nothing good enough to view
You’re saying nothing worth listening to
Doin’ nothin’ ‘cept for what might profit you
You’re doin’ nothin’ at all.

The
airwaves are filled. The bandwidth is packed. You
can have it all, anytime, in whatever flavor you
want. And most of it is pure crap. At RadioFreeBabylon,
we hope to be less crappy than the rest of it.
Anyone and everyone can now have their very own show,
produced at their very own desktop studio with some
simple software and a microphone. All
you need is something to
say, which is where most everyone falls short. They ain't sayin' nothin'.
This
is a talk show format occasionally interrupted with
music you've never heard
before
and can't
wait to
hear
again. (Also some music you've totally forgotten
and are glad is back in your life.) It's called RadioFreeBabylon.

Speaking
of music, we're not sure yet of the legalities of
sampling some of the tunes we've put on our broadcasts.
Hopefully, we aren't going to get sued. We can,
however, point you to those songs, and maybe you'll
download one for a dollar. We've seen it happen already.
So if music publishers want to say we are stealing,
we will counter with, "No, we are advertising
your music for you, without charge, in the hopes
that you will reap huge royalties from purchase of
said music. If anything, you should be paying us to
play your music...now get off our backs."

mess, please

Our
show's theme music is from Phil Keaggy's album "Crimson
and Blue" which is ©1994 Word Records. You
should own it. Used by permission. kinda,
sorta...not really.
